| 1. How to reserve an apartment? |

Select one or more apartments on the site which suit your requirements and send us an e-mail. We check availability for your selected period and send you an answer. If one or all of your selected apartments have already been reserved, we will suggest other possibilities.
When you wish to reserve, we will send you a contract by e-mail.
To reserve the apartment: To begin with, print the contract, sign each page, and return it to us with the filled in form by fax (+33 04.94.89.01.54). Do not forget to specify your means of payment for the 50% advance payment. Then send this contract signed on each page, the filled in form, and your payment, by post.
The apartment will be reserved for you when we receive your signed contract and advance payment. We will put an option on the apartment for a maximum of 48 hours while awaiting your payment and the contract. Finally, we will send you confirmation of your reservation. |

| 2. How can you pay? |
 |
You can pay for your rental period by cheque or bank transfer. Payment may also be made by credit card (secure payment via SSL protocol). You may therefore pay for and immediately reserve the apartment for the desired dates in a secure manner.
Payments by American Express are not accepted. |

| 3. Do legal documents exist concerning the rental of the apartment? |
 |
Absolutely. You can find a lease and an inventory on the site. You can relax in the knowledge that your reservation is risk-free. |

| 4. Should I take out home insurance for the rental period? |
 |
Our insurance policy covers damages to both the property of the tenant and the occupants for fire, explosion or water damage. The insurance company will cover tenant liabilities and recourse by neighbours and third parties. |

| 5. How will I pay? |
 |
We will ask you for an advance payment corresponding to 50% of the amount due in rent at reservation. You must send us the outstanding balance fifteen days before your intended date of arrival at the latest.

| 6. Will we have to pay taxes? |
 |
French law requires that any individual residing in an apartment must pay a holiday tax. Our apartments are classified according to a scale ranging from two to four stars. This tax is calculated on the basis of the classification of the apartment. Classification depends on the location, quality and equipment.
Rates are as follows: - for a bed sit: 0.78 Euros per day and per person. - for a 2-room apartment: 1.00 Euro - for a 3-room apartment or bigger: 1.20 Euro |

| 7. How will the deposit be reimbursed? |
 |
Once a representative from PARIS 4 RENT has checked the apartment and the inventory has been validated, the deposit will be returned within fifteen days of the date of departure of the tenant.
Any outstanding amounts due will be deducted if applicable (amounts required for any repairs to the premises).
The deposit will be credited to your credit card independently of your means of payment. |

| 8. How long can you stay? |
 |
We rent apartments for a minimum of two nights.
There is no maximum duration. You may rent an apartment for as long as you desire according to availability. |

| 9. When can we arrive? |
 |
You can arrive on any day of the week. You must inform PARIS 4 RENT of your exact arrival date and time at least one week before your intended arrival date. |

| 10. How are customers greeted? |
 |
You can collect the keys for the apartment at arrival. You will be informed of where to collect the keys when you receive your contract. |

| 11. How will the departure and inventory be organised? |
 |
You must call the agency two days before your departure to arrange the time of the inventory. Should you not call, it will take place at 10.00. For weekend and bank holiday departures, a representative of PARIS 4 RENT, will indicate where you should leave the keys. If a representative of PARIS 4 RENT notes any damages after your departure, we will inform you and will deduct any amounts due from the deposit. |

| 12. What are the conditions for cancellation? |
 |
Should the customer cancel the reservation fifteen days or less prior to the intended date of arrival, the full rent will be due.
Should the customer cancel the reservation more than fifteen days prior to the intended date of arrival, the advance payment will be retained. |

| 13. What are rental rates? |
 |
Rates depend on: - the duration of your stay (rates drop for rental periods of more than seven days) - the number of people occupying the apartment - the dates of your stay (high and low season).
In addition, stays may not be less than 2 nights. |

| 14. What services must be paid (electricity, gas, ...)? |
 |
Electricity, water, internet access, and cleaning at the end of your stay are included in the rental rates. |

| 15. Are animals accepted? |
 |
We are sorry to inform you that animals are not accepted in our apartments, unless specific prior agreement is given by PARIS 4 RENT. |

| 16. How much are agency fees? |
 |
We are pleased to inform you that the rates indicated on the web site and in your contract include the agency fees. |

| 17. Do we need to bring linen? |
 |
We supply clean linen for each apartment. Should you stay more than two weeks, we will provide a change of linen. |

| 18. How clean is the apartment? |
 |
The apartment is cleaned before you arrive. We ask you to keep the apartment as clean as you found it during your stay. We can provide cleaning services during your stay at a cost of €20 per hour. |

| 19. Can we change apartment? |
 |
Please take note that, if necessary or in case of an emergency, we reserve the right to change the apartment you have reserved for another apartment of identical or higher quality. Should you wish to change apartment during your stay, we will invoice you for the cost of changing apartment. |
